Once Wished For

This is for those of us who’ve had things not work out as planned, or for those of us shown a new direction that makes us feel unsure. This is for those of us who are trying to accept that a long held dream has slipped away and we’re left feeling directionless …

Poem by Molly from Transatlantic Notes called ’Once Wished For’: “The things I once wished for sit heavy in my throat causing an ache from fragmented dreams left unfulfilled ... Where do I go from here?"

Your journey may not look or feel how you envisioned it, but ultimately that is what life is all about. Life’s art is in its reworking. You’re meant to refocus, revisit and replan. I waver in my trust in that process sometimes, but I never give up on it.

You shouldn’t either.
