Many different life events, challenges or changes can carry an emotional weight that’s difficult to process. Working through something that’s created a loss in our lives can be nuanced, complex and fluid. There is no correct way to be or timetable to work from when experiencing something that requires acceptance or healing.

Life is unpredictable, no matter how well we think we have planned things out, be kind to yourself as you navigate a new path. Feel whatever it is that you need to feel but don’t allow yourself to dwell within something that could become immovable. For now, let the rain fall …

I know many people can be a bit against going but these services can make all the difference. It’s not for everybody, but normalizing talking about getting therapy will hopefully make more people aware that it is a valuable option. Thanks for reading!

I love this. Life is hard and we should embrace our feelings but not dwell on the negative for too long. Let the rain fall is the perfect way to look at it. Great post!

Love this! I’m a firm believer that you have to allow yourself to feel your pain and then process those feelings in order to heal so the rain metaphor really appeals to me. Great list of resources as well, thanks for sharing!
