Better Times Ahead …

When life is a bit of a struggle and difficulties sometimes linger, or things don’t quite turn out how we planned, it’s encouraging to receive a little reminder that better times are ahead. We may have to work at it and even ask for help, but change will be ready when we are. Being kind to ourselves in times of stagnation, change or upheaval etc represents an act of resiliency and self-love — we’re worth it.

Poem by Molly from Transatlantic Notes called Better Times Ahead reads: “Sunkissed days are not over when the frosts of winter come. The nourishment of root and bloom - unseen- is never done. The storms and cold will calm in time as warmth arrives once more. New growth will flourish renewed again of this you can be sure.”

Whatever it is we’re going through, we all need someone in our corner from time to time. We all need a bit of confidence and strength — and we all deserve to flourish.

  2. A beautiful, heartfelt poem. I saw it on your Instagram, then again in my email, so I just had to reach out and let you know how beautiful (and much needed) your words are.

I’m reading a book called Wintering: The Power of Rest and Retreat in Difficult Times by Katherine May. I thought you might like it, too.
