In terms of your mental, emotional or physical well-being; if I was to ask you what you need right now, what would your answer be? Sometimes self-care involves implementing practices that allow us to withstand (and then recover) from issues and challenges that come our way; every so often, self-care is survival.
When we go through challenges and changes, and set the pieces of ourselves back together, we have the opportunity to emerge as a transformed version of ourselves. Learning new ways of being takes time, care and understanding; if we are to heal and move forward, we should nourish and celebrate how we are evolving.
Aiming to live authentically helps create a sense of purpose and fulfillment that's rooted in recognizing our self-worth. It's an evolving process throughout our life's journey deeply connected to what resonates most within our principles, responsibilities, boundaries, words and actions.
When we question where life is taking us or we feel adrift without direction, it can be overwhelming and set off bouts of anxiety and stress. This then feeds into everything we do and how we approach our day; sometimes wondering where our purpose lies.
